eCHAT 2023:

Admission to premium institutes for a three - year bachelor’s degree in hospitality management is based on the Indian Institute of Hotel Management (IIHM) Entrance Exam or the Combined Hospitality Aptitude Test (E-CHAT). 

The IIHM eCHAT is a distinctive online proctored Management Aptitude Test.The IIHM campuses in kolkata, Ahmedabad, Bangalore, Hyderabad, Jaipur, New Delhi, Pune, Goa, Samarkand, & Bangkok hold an uniform admission test for admission to the various hotel management programmes they provide.

• Candidates should pass in class 12th examination or its equivalent with English as one of the subjects with a minimum of 50 % aggregate marks. 
• Those appearing in class 10+2 or equivalent examination can also appear in E-CHAT Entrance Exam
• Upper age limit : 22 years as of 1st June 2022.

Candidates are tested on various grounds in the IIHM entrance exam. The test paper for IIHM contains many different types of questions in order to test the aptitude as well as skills of aspirants. Since it is a professional course, it becomes necessary that the aspirants should be judged for their overall personality & not just their academy record.
